These glittery houses during the Christmas holidays became widely popular in 1928 and continued for about a decade after World War II ended. But because these kinds of ornaments hold so much sentimental value, they often get passed down for generations to come.  It’s very rare to see one like this with a Santa.  It’s larger than most measuring 6” wide by 4” deep and 5” tall.  Some of the vellum paper it the windows is either missing or cracked as is usual for the antique Putz houses.    The back has a hole for a light bulb.
