Chemise for antique doll. Some dolls were sold with only a chemise on to be dressed by the owner. This one is very pretty and in good condition. It’s made of lawn cotton with puffed sleeves, trimmed with early cotton lace. The bodice and neckline are trimmed with ruched faded blue ribbon and pretty lace. It measures 4 ½” in length, 5 ½” across the shoulder, seam to seam, 8” across the chest and 5 ½” sleeve openings. It would fit around a 23” doll.
