A Wonderful large antique Santa with Sleigh marked Germany and made for the American market. His face is in excellent condition.   He is all original with his orange felt coat and hat with gray faux or possibly real sheepskin trim along the hat, collar, sleeves and coat. He is wearing blue felt pants and black painted shoes. His beard is made of rabbit fur and his face is in excellent condition with nice facial features. He is holding his original feather tree which has become a little sparse over the years. He is on a mica covered wood platform that measures 23 ½” long x 6 ½” wide that is marked Germany. It’s hard to make out by it definitely says Germany. He is pulling a wooden and wicker sled that reads Merry Christmas on red Dresden foil mounted on an ecru colored silk ribbon with paper feather tree sprig and pip. The sled has in it a wrapped gift that was added later, a snow-covered bottle brush tree and antique wooden truck carrying barrels, also marked Germany. These larger displays is what everyone wants! It’s a wonderful collector's piece!
