Beautiful early original hat is made of low-pile ecru velvet.   It's decorated with early ribbonwork and is being modelled on a 16" French fashion.  It would also fit a smaller one and measures 3" in diameter from top to bottom and 2 1/2" from side to side.  It comes with a newer oval shaped  hat box covered in off-white and fancy gold paisley decorated paper with an H on the top.  The hat fits the box perfectly and looks wonderful.
