This beautiful bonnet is made of crèam colored silk faille. It is an early bonnet and has some splitting in the fabric but only in the back area. It has 3 rows of fine gathered picot edge lace along the front with loops of silk ribbon tucked in with the lace. It also is decorated with two silk ribbon rosettes, one on each side, with many layers of looping. The inside is lined with matching shear china silk. It closes in the front with silk satin ribbon ties. It is being modeled on a 25” doll and would also fit a doll a bit larger. It measures 11” around the front from one end around the top to the opposite end. The color is wonderful and will go with so many outfits.
