Reference books have this mold number associated with Kestner and there is reference to the company working with Kestner around 1911 so it could be that it’s a Kestner mold produced by the Louis Wolf company. She has beautiful bisque that is perfect with no chips, hairline or repairs but does have some light rub marks on the cheeks. She has a new antique-blonde mohair wig with soft curls. She has an open mouth with four teeth and a red felt tongue, and a bit of a double chin. She is on a five piece composition bent limb body and the body is in excellent condition. The back of the head is incised 153 L.W. &Co 11. She is wearing a perfectly fitting two piece cotton outfit trimmed in lace with embellished with pale blue ribbons. She is sure to melt your heart.
